‘Bus Stop’ (The Hollies - June ‘66)
Salford born lad Graham Gouldman wrote this pure pop song when the idea came to him whilst travelling home on the bus from work one evening. He continued that night in his bedroom and with a bit of help from his dad, the outcome was The Hollies ninth top ten hit, reaching number 5 in the UK charts. It also became their first US top ten entry!
