Pretty Women
‘Oh, pretty Woman’ (Roy Orbison - Sept ’64)
A second consecutive number one for the ‘Big O’ in 1964.
Orbison’s wife Claudette was going out shopping and Roy asked if she needed cash.
His writing partner at the time Bill Dees, quipped ‘A pretty woman never needs money.’
… and that triggered them to write this classic song!
No matter where you go in the world or whatever decade you visit… you will always find a
Pretty Woman… even in the places that you least expect.
